I don't think it's cynical at all.. can't think of anything I was nuts about at 19 that I feel the same way about today. Sadly life isn't a unicorn ride into some sparkly rainbows where you have cupcakes and tea with the Queen of England. Getting married at 19 is just about the dumbest thing to ever do lol
